Yes - at collection we require a valid Victorian Driver's Licence plus a proof of address document dated within the last 3 months (e.g. phone bill, bank statement or utility bill). Both can be shown on your phone.
If someone else is collecting on your behalf, just let us know beforehand, and they'll need to bring their own Victorian ID and satisfy all above requirements.
We won't release equipment booked under your name without express written or verbal approval.

If you need to change your dates, contact us as soon as possible. Changes depend on availability, but we’ll do our best to help.
Yes! We offer discounts on multi-day (up to 2 week) hires. This rate is auto-calculated by our booking software for you online.
We can also arrange long-term hire contracts, with great savings over 3, 6, 12 or 24 month periods. This is great for venues which need a managed, hassle free rental experience. Check out our long term hire page here.
We accept online card payments via our website checkout. If you need a different payment method for a corporate invoice, contact us and we’ll help.
All equipment hires require a refundable security deposit (bond). This is to cover loss or damage and is returned after the equipment is checked back in with no issues. The bond amount is equivalent to the cost of your hire or $300, whichever is greater.

There is no minimum hire period but our minimum hire rate is our overnight/day rate as listed on the website.
Yes, contact us as soon as you know you need an extension. Extensions depend on availability and upcoming bookings, and will incur an additional cost.
Yes! Our hire rates are based on an overnight rate, and there is no minimum hire period, unlike other rental houses.

Yes, we’re happy to help load the gear into your car at pickup.
Yes, we have a large inventory of professional DJ equipment including Pioneer CDJs and mixers available for hire. Tell us what you’re used to playing on and we’ll match you to the right setup.
All our Pioneer CDJs are up to date and come with USB connectivity, so you can plug in your Rekordbox formatted USB and play away. We can also provide cabling should you wish to connect your computer directly to the CDJs.
Yes, we hire out DJ controllers. Our range is always changing, but our most popular model to date is the XDJ-RX3 all-in-one DJ controller.
Yes, we hire projectors and screens for presentations and events. Tell us your room size, lighting, and audience size and we’ll recommend the right setup.
We stock a range of party lights, wash lighting, and effect lighting all available for hire in Melbourne.
We have a range of haze and smoke machines available for rent with no minimum hire period. All units include a full tank of smoke fluid on collection. We also have extra smoke fluid available for purchase.

If equipment is returned damaged, you may be charged for repair or replacement depending on the issue. We’ll always assess fairly and talk you through it.

We charge a late fee for any equipment not returned on the agreed date. Please contact us immediately should you need to delay the return of your hire and we can discuss your options.

We take a fully refundable security deposit for any cleaning fees, missing cables etc. This covers 99% of instances.
Should equipment be damaged or stolen whilst in your possession, you are fully liable for the replacement or repair of the equipment.
