Service & Repairs

Professional, tour-ready service & repairs for all things DJ backline & pro audio.

About our Service

Since 2014 Bounce Audio has provided a proven service & repair solution for our customers & venues.

We service the full range of Pioneer DJ AlphaTheta products from the CDJ-300 you found in the attic all the way up to the CDJ-3000x. As a hire shop ourselves, we see all types of damage from units left out in the sun to severe liquid damage. We stock spare parts for many different popular CDJ, XDJ, mixers & controllers.

We are also proud to service a large number of classic Technics SL-1200 players for nightclubs, venues, bedrooms and Hi-Fi enthusiasts alike. Admittedly we hoard a large amount of Technics parts so we always have spare parts on hand and are happy to facilitate LED colour changes, target lamp replacements, pesky centre click removal & other hacky DJ mods on request!

Unlike other repair shops which only deal with venues or have outrageous minimum fees, no job is too big or too small, and we work with you to find a solution to your needs!

And when something breaks at the wrong time, we offer a discounted rate on hiring equipment whilst your units are being fixed.

Pricing

An initial assessment fee of $100 will be payable in the event you do not proceed with repairs and we are capable of facilitating it in a timely manner.

Our hourly rate for service and repair labour is $120, and is billed in 15 minute increments.

Any repair quotations exceeding $350 per unit will be discussed with the client and authorised before commencing any work.

Where parts stock allows, We offer agreed rush job turnarounds for $175 per hour and will be completed within 24 hours of drop-off.

Terms

All cases, cartridges, slipmats, cables, and any other accessories for each unit are left with Bounce Audio at the Clients own risk.

  • Whilst Bounce Audio strives to return equipment to clients as quickly as possible, due to many factors such as the ordering of parts and job backlog, the work may take several weeks to complete.
    • Upon receival of the equipment, any delays, extensive repair estimates or other issues will be discussed with the Client as soon as possible.

  • The minimum charge per unit is $100 (inc. GST) which covers the cost of opening up the unit and giving it a thorough examination and reporting any faults/requirements back to the client along with an estimate of repair costs. This fee is payable regardless of whether the client decides to go ahead with the repairs.

  • All repair costs $350 or less (per unit), including the $100 minimum charge, will be undertaken without contacting the client. Any costs greater than $350 per unit will be discussed with the client (by phone or email) prior to the works being undertaken.

  • We aim to use new parts where possible, however we may use refurbished or secondhand parts where available and discussed with the Client to ensure cost effective and/or timely return. Used parts are not covered under our Limited Repair Warranty.
  • Bounce Audio may be contacted by calling us on 8060 2997 (please leave a voice message if the store is closed) or by emailing us at shop@bounceaudio.com.au

  • Payment must be made in full at pick up before the equipment can be released. Bounce Audio accept all Credit Cards, EFTPOS, Cash and Bank Transfers.

  • All units are tested before being returned to clients and clients may ask for this to be demonstrated to them prior to leaving the premises. Should the client not ask for such a demonstration then they accept this.

  • All repairs are guaranteed by Bounce Audio for a period of three-months from the date of return.

  • Bounce Audio do not have the capacity to store client’s equipment for longer than 30 days and any equipment not collected after this period may be forfeited to Bounce Audio.
